Carbon prefilters do an amazing job in your air purifier, so much so that you're probably wondering how you did without? Prefilters catch the larger bits of gunk that can gum up your primary filter, extending its life. When you add in the carbon element, the prefilter also traps and absorbs strong odors. Because of this, carbon filters need changed more often than your standard filter and you shouldn't wash them. If you need to clean them, use the dusting brush attachment on your vacuum to give it a once over. This set includes 2 carbon prefilter sheets that can be trimmed to fit either Type C or Type D Idylis air purifiers.
