    This two layered filter is designed especially for your Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner and plays an important part in keeping your house clean. While your vacuum bag holds all the big gunk, small particles of dust tend to escape. This filter catches those little bits and keeps them out of your air and your nose. So to keep your vacuum running at peak efficiency, change your filter every three to six months. Just remember, when installing this filter, place the white side up and out toward the dust compartment.
