This replacement air filter has a MERV-8 rating. What this rating means is that your new filter is able to remove most particles from the air that are 3 microns and larger. That includes dust mite debris, pet dander, hair spray particles, and even pudding mix. So, the next time you find your home invaded by a pudding mix throwing, hair do fixing 80's gang, you know that at least your air will be kept clear. Replace the filter every four to six months for maximum efficiency, depending on how often you get invaded by pudding clans.
