Where's my model number?

Replacement parts are matched to listed model numbers. Cleaners and descalers list the machine families they support; check the product page before ordering. If you're not sure what your model number is, it's usually printed on a sticker or plate on the machine itself.

Air purifiers

On most air purifiers, the model and serial number are printed on a label on the back or bottom of the unit — sometimes inside the filter compartment door, where normal handling doesn't wear it off.

  • Blueair: location depends on the shape. On cylindrical Blue Pure models, rotate the top cap counter-clockwise and lift it off — the label is underneath. On square Blue Pure and Protect models, press the buttons on both sides of the unit at the same time, or check the bottom panel.
  • Whirlpool Whispure: the label is on the bottom of the unit.
  • Shark: check the rating label on the back or bottom of the main unit. The same number is also printed near the barcode on the bottom of the box, and on the front cover of the instruction manual.
  • Honeywell: the label is on the back, bottom, or underside of the unit.

If the outer label has worn off, the same model and part info is sometimes printed a second time on the filter itself or inside the filter door — worth checking there before giving up.

Vacuums

The rating plate is usually on the back or bottom of the vacuum, near the cord wrap, or inside the dust bin or bag compartment — you may need to open the bin to see it.

  • Shark: the rating label is on the back or bottom of the main body. It's also printed near the barcode on the bottom of the box, and on the front cover of the manual.
  • Oreck: the data label is on the bottom of the vacuum.

For bagged vacuums, the required bag style is often printed right next to the model plate — the fastest way to confirm the right bag without cross-referencing anything else.

Range hoods & air exchangers

These labels are mounted inside the housing — behind the grease filter, a blower access panel, or a wiring box cover — not visible from outside. Plan on a flashlight and removing a filter or panel.

  • Nutone / Broan range hoods: on standard under-cabinet hoods, the label is on the right or left inside wall of the hood canopy. On chimney-style hoods, it's on the underside of the canopy, behind the filters. On professional-style hoods, it's on the inside of the left wall of the canopy. On island downdraft units, it's on the front of the unit beneath the cooktop — you may need to pull a cabinet drawer or shelving to see it.
  • Nutone / Broan air exchangers & ventilators: on whole-house ventilators, the data label is on the top corner of the unit housing. On powered attic ventilators, it's on the cover of the wiring box, visible from the attic. On utility ventilators, it's on the inside perimeter of the housing, opposite the wiring panel.
  • Dynamic air cleaners: the model and power-rating label is printed on the cartridge frame, next to the size label. Slide the air cleaner cartridge out of its duct housing to see it.

Some Nutone/Broan model numbers carry a letter suffix, like "41000-L." Use the full number, suffix included, when you order.

Humidifiers

The label is usually on the base or back of the tank housing, sometimes on the underside of the water tank itself.

  • Essick Air / AIRCARE: on the MA0800 Mini-Console and the 4DTS 900 Executive, the serial number sticker is on the back of the fan assembly. For other AIRCARE models, check your owner's manual.

Humidifier model numbers are easy to mix up with the filter or wick's own part number. If you're not sure which is which, send us both and we'll sort it out.

Espresso & coffee machines

The label is usually on the base of the machine, or on the back near the power cord.

  • Breville: the model number, batch code, and serial number are on a sticker (or molded into the housing) on the underside or back of the machine.

We sell descalers by machine family, not a strict model match, so a name like "Breville Barista Express" is usually enough on its own. A model number helps, but you don't need to track one down just for a descaler.

Grow lights & other

These don't follow one pattern. Check the base or underside first, then the back panel or control unit.

  • AeroGarden: the serial and model numbers are on a label on the base, underneath the water bowl. To read it without draining the water, unplug the pump and power cables, then lift the bowl off to the side.

If you can't find a label, send us a photo and we'll match it from there.

Still stuck? Send us your model.

Tell us what you've got — a model number, a photo of the label, or just the brand and appliance type — and we'll find the right part.
