How to swap it in.
- Power off
Turn the purifier off and unplug it.
- Open the door
Pull the Air Filter Door open from the back of the unit.
- Remove the old filter
Hold the filter tabs and slide the used filter out, then discard it.
- Unwrap and insert
Remove the plastic from the new filter and slide it in, holding the tabs.
- Close the door
Seat the door's tabs in place, then press it forward to secure.
- Reset the light
Press and hold the Check Filter button until it beeps and the light turns off.
Basis Clorox recommends replacing its own 12060 filter every 6-12 months; shown at 12. Heavier use shortens it.
