    When you add a carbon prefilter to your regular air purifier, things get stepped up a level. The prefilter extends the life of your primary filter by intercepting and trapping the larger bits of debris that can clog or damage your primary filter. Add in the carbon and your prefilter is ready to tackle odors too. That's right, this prefilter doesn't just help keep your air allergen free, it also gets it fresh and clean. To maintain peak performance, use the brush attachment on your vacuum to clear the larger bits every couple of weeks, and swap the filter completely every four to six weeks.
