White flakes in the bottom of the kettle, a boil that takes longer than it used to, and water that tastes faintly off. That is calcium carbonate on the heating element, and it gets worse the longer it sits.
This is a 35% citric acid concentrate built specifically for kettles rather than a coffee descaler repurposed for one. Food-grade, non-toxic, rinses completely clean, and safe on stainless, glass and BPA-free plastic. Two tablespoons per descale, 15 descales per 16 fl oz bottle.
