Q01Will it fit my machine?
It's listed for Toddy 5 Gallon Commercial Brewer, Toddy Commercial Model, Toddy Commercial Model with Lift (CMLTCM), and it replaces part number TCMST. If your label shows a different model, compatibility isn't confirmed: email support@thinkcrucial.com with the model number before you order. If a listed model doesn't fit, we send a prepaid return label and refund you in full.
Q02Is this an original Toddy part?
No. It's an aftermarket bag made by Think Crucial to fit the models listed. Think Crucial is not affiliated with Toddy. We make what we sell.
Q03What if it doesn't fit, or I change my mind?
If it doesn't fit the model we list, we email a prepaid return label within 30 days of delivery and refund you in full; opened to test the fit is fine. Changed your mind? Return it unused in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. The return label is free for these too.
Q04When will it arrive?
Shipping to U.S. addresses is free on every order. It ships from our fulfillment center in 1–3 business days and arrives in 3–7 business days.
Q05Is there a subscription?
No. You buy one when you need one. Nothing renews and nothing auto-ships.
We make what we sell.
Think Crucial started in 2007 at a family vacuum repair shop. Today we make aftermarket filters, bags and parts built to fit the machines you already own, plus our own descalers and cleaners. Most people can fit the part themselves. They just need the right one, and a way to check it first.

Strainer Bag for Toddy 5 Gallon Commercial Brewers
Fits 3 Toddy models
$52.00Free U.S. shipping
Fit guaranteed: prepaid return label if it doesn't fit the model we list. 30-day returns.
Full product description
A washable, reusable strainer bag for the Toddy Cold Brew System Commercial Model, the brewer usually sold as the 5-gallon commercial Toddy. It replaces Toddy's TCMST strainer.
What it fits
- Toddy Cold Brew System Commercial Model (CMTCMW)
- Toddy Commercial Model with Lift (CMLTCM)
- Replaces Toddy TCMST
How it's used
On the Commercial Model the strainer goes around Toddy's single-use paper filter bag as a second layer. It doesn't replace the paper filter.
Cleaning
Rinse out the grounds after each batch, wash it with a little mild soap and water, and let it dry before the next brew. Replace it when the fabric tears or starts letting grounds through.
What's in the box
One strainer bag, or two with the 2-pack.
Questions
Do I still need paper filters?
Yes. The strainer wraps the paper filter bag; it doesn't stand in for it.
I have the Commercial Model with Lift. Do I need a strainer?
Toddy says the Lift removes the need for the reusable strainer, but it still sells the TCMST for that brewer. Use one if you want a second layer around the paper filter.
Does it fit the Toddy Pro Series 10?
No. The Pro Series brewers use a filter platform and their own filters, not a strainer bag.
