    A garment steamer that spits, sputters or has lost pressure is telling you its boiler is scaled. Hard water leaves calcium on the heating element, and that layer both insulates the element and restricts the water path.

    This is a citric acid concentrate you dose to the size of your steamer rather than dumping in a fixed single-use packet. Two teaspoons per 10 oz of water, scaled up proportionally for larger commercial boilers. Unscented, three ingredients, and up to 20 or more cycles per 8 fl oz bottle.

    • Dose to your machine – Use only enough solution to cover the heating element or scaled area, instead of committing a full single-use packet to every clean.
    • Fits Jiffy and most consumer steamers – Jiffy J-2000, J-2000W, J-2000A, J-2S, J-2SE, J-3, J-4000 Series, J-5000W, 1221 and 1211 commercial models, plus many Conair, SALAV, Rowenta, Steamfast, PurSteam, Pure Enrichment and Beautural steamers.
    • Three ingredients, unscented – Citric acid, sodium citrate and distilled water. No fragrance and no surfactants.
    • Restores steam performance – Dissolves calcium and mineral buildup from boilers, heating elements and other water-contact areas. Made in the USA.

    How to use:

    1. Mix 2 teaspoons of concentrate per 10 oz of water, scaling up proportionally for larger tanks.
    2. Fill the steamer reservoir with the solution.
    3. Run the steamer per its descaling instructions, or let it dwell if the design allows.
    4. Empty, then rinse and run clear water through until no residue remains.
