We make what we sell.
Think Crucial started in 2007 at a family vacuum repair shop. Today we make aftermarket filters, bags and parts built to fit the machines you already own, plus our own descalers and cleaners. Most people can fit the part themselves. They just need the right one, and a way to check it first.

Filter Set for IKEA FÖRNUFTIG (2 Pack)
Fits 5 IKEA models
$74.99Free U.S. shipping
Fit guaranteed: prepaid return label if it doesn't fit the model we list. 30-day returns.
Full product description
Two complete FÖRNUFTIG filter sets in one box: 2 particle filters and 2 activated carbon filters. Fit one set now and keep the other for the next change. At a swap every 6 months, that's a year of filters for one purifier.
Each set does the job of IKEA's two FÖRNUFTIG filters, article 104.619.44 for particles and 404.872.83 for gas and odors.
What's in the box
- 2 particle filters (IKEA 104.619.44)
- 2 activated carbon filters (IKEA 404.872.83)
Keeping the spare set
Leave the second set in its packaging until you need it. Activated carbon adsorbs odors from the air around it even when it isn't in the purifier.
Fits
The FÖRNUFTIG purifier in white or black, and IKEA's purifier + gas filter bundles. See the article numbers at the bottom of this page.
Is this the same filter as the single set?
Yes. Same particle filter and same carbon filter, two of each.
Can I run the purifier without the carbon filter?
Yes. IKEA treats the gas filter as optional. The particle filter does the dust work; the carbon filter is for smells.
Does it fit other IKEA purifiers?
No. UPPÅTVIND takes IKEA filter 905.514.98 and STARKVIND takes 304.619.43.
